Through clear and simple discussion with her teacher, she learns the virtue and value of gratitude and supplication to her merciful Allah and sees the world through brand new eyes. Aisha asks her teacher why Allah has created sickness, to which her teacher answers that sickness was created so that we could learn to appreciate our health. Her teacher explains that without thirst, we wouldn t know the value of water, and without hunger we would never understand the value of food. Through these explanations, Aisha learns that she has been blessed with a wonderful life. She learns, just the way your child can learn, to see the world through the crystal clear lens of Islam. Aisha started thinking about all of the things that she had learned from her teacher that day and decided that tomorrow would be a brand new day for her
